Day 1 - Food Log

This might be weird and boring, but I'm doing it anyway. LOL!

Breakfast - handful of peanuts.

Lunch - Caesar Salad from Wendy's from which I ate all the chicken and some of the lettuce.

Snack - peanuts.

Dinner - 3 scrambled eggs with tbsp butter/sour cream.

Dessert - Sugar free pudding cup.

Sugar free things aren't actually on the "induction" part of the Atkin's diet.  Meh.

  1. Have you tried the Jello Mousse Temptations things? They're pretty good.
Know you have to do induction, but it just gets hard sometimes.

I figure it's ok to have something like that once in a while so you don't go insane and eat 200 cups in a day (I am cringing imagining the stomach pains that too much sugar free can give ya!)

  2. Dannon makes a new strawberry yogurt that is only 90 calories, no fat and is only $1 for a four pack. Yes, you read that right ONE DOLLAR.
    Makes a great snack!

  3. I admire you April. There's no way I could do the Atkins.
I started the blogtourage today and I forgot my snacks and didn't get lunch as I was busy sorting legal matters with regards to my tribunal. Day 2 will be better.
    Go girl!

  4. Nessa - that's exactly the kind I had! OMG THEY ARE AWESOMELY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MMMMMM!

Joy - I can't wait until I have have yogurt! Nom nom nom

    Amanda - it's ok..

  5. do you know how many calories you will be eating on a daily basis? I try to take in between 1200-1500 calories a day to lose weight...sounds like you are doing the atkins diet..good luck! I have a forum on struggling to lose weight over at my blogfrog community if you'd like to check it out!

  6. Shannon - I'd love to! And yeah, I get in around 1200-1500 a day. Day 1 was harder because I didn't have much to choose from. Day two hasn't shaped up much better. I just need to go shopping!
